DMB started with a bloke, a love for fishing and an idea.

Dion has always loved being outdoors. Fishing was never just about catching a fish - it was about the feeling that came with it. Getting away from the noise, spending time with mates and finding a little bit of peace.

That passion eventually turned into a desire to create his own fishing lures.

And that's where DMB began.

What started as an idea slowly become something real. Lures were designed, tested, tweaked, thrown in the water and tested again. There were plenty of ideas, plenty of late nights and more than a few conversations about whether something was actually going to work.

Then there was Rachael.

Somewhere along the way, Dion found not only his biggest supporter, but the love of his life.

Rachael became a huge part of the DMB journey - helping shape the brand, the creative direction, the content and mostly what DMB could stand for.

Together, DMB started becoming more than a fishing lure brand.

They wanted it to represent the things they genuinely believe matter: getting outside, spending time with people you love, having a laugh, chasing a few fish and making memories along the way.

And they wanted mental health to be part of that conversation - as both Dion & Rachael have experienced tough times.

Life isn't always easy. They both have seen the good days and the hard ones, and they know how important it is to have people around you who check in, listen and simply show up.

Sometimes a fishing trip is just a fishing trip.

And sometimes its exactly what someone needs.

That's the heart of DMB.

Building a brand around fishing, but also building a community around connection, conversation, adventure and adding more life into your life.
